| Check your credit file frequently | This is especially important if you’ve recently removed house, or you share a communal letterbox. You can gain credit reports from Callcredit, Equifax and Experian. |
| Pick up your cards from one of our branches if concerned | If you’re worried about the safety of cards delivered through the post, arrange to pick them up at one of our UK branches |
| Ensure your mail hasn’t been stolen | If you’re concerned your mail might have been redirected, call the Royal Mail Customer Enquiry Line on +44 (0) 8457 740 740. They can tell you if a mail redirection order has been made in your name without your consent. |
| Tell people you’re moving home | Inform us and other organisations that you’re moving and ask for your address to be immediately updated |
| Stop unsolicited mail | Sign up for the Mail Preference Service. |
